Knights Templar Helm
The Knights Templar were a powerful crusading order of knights founded in the 11th Century with many of their number recruited from England and France. There are many Templar castles and churches throughout England including the Temple Church in London, made famous in The Da Vinci Code.
This Knights Templar Helmet is a Great Helm from the 13th century when the order was at the height of its power. It is decorated by a large black cross pattée associated with the order along with a smaller antiqued brass cross at the centre.
It is hand crafted from polished 18 gauge steel and comes complete with a padded cotton lining cap that can be glued in for comfort should you wish to wear it.
